Saturdays in March Shake off the winter chill and warm up your muscles for an active summer. Each Saturday in March, get $10 off a one-hour massage. New Light Therapy Center is a collective of independent practitioners. Each offering their own unique style of bodywork. All rates include sales tax. Our therapists are nationally certified by NCBTMB, have completed over 500 hours of training, and meet our high standards of skill and professionalism. She is trained in relaxation and Swedish massage techniques, as well as deep tissue techniques such as Trigger Point Therapy. She also performs LaStone Therapy, a modality in which heated and cooled stones are used to increase circulation and detoxification. Jody practices energy work modalities, including Reiki and Reconnective Healing, on their own, as well as to enhance her awareness for massage. She is currently pursuing continuing education in craniosacral therapy and myofascial work. Jody is a graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University's 780-hour COMTA-accredited massage program, a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, and is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Lori is a Certified Pre- & Perinatal Massage Therapist offering pregnancy massage, instruction in self-massage, coach support, and pain management skills, as well as postpartum massage.
Lori also specializes in Rehabilitative massage, combining Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, and Positional Release, targeting chronic and short-term pain, as well as medical conditions. Lori incorporates her skills in Reflexology (foot massage), Hot Stone, and Swedish massage into your session where appropriate, or as a full session if desired. Nicole is a a Nationally Certified Shiatsu and Massage Therapist.
She is trained in Shiatsu, Deep tissue, Rehabilitative Therapy,
Reiki, and Relaxation/Swedish Massage.
In a session, she focuses on combining therapies and techniques to accustom the individual's needs. Her aim is to apply technique with diligence and awareness. She fully believes that one needs to have respect, love, care, and understanding of their being and that good bodywork is a facilitation of this. Nicole is happy to do sessions fully clothed or directly on the skin with oil or lotion. Said is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. He is skilled in a variety of massage and bodywork modalities including Swedish massage, deep connective tissue therapy, sports massage,
myofascial release therapy, and trigger point therapy. He is also
certified in pre/post natal massage.
You will find that Said pays close attention to what you need and applies an expert blend of sensitivity and upper body strength to address your concerns. He will quickly learn what is right for you and customize your experience to achieve the desired results. Lynn Lynn is a licensed and nationally certified Massage and Shiatsu therapist, and a certified Personal Trainer. With a thorough assessment, she can identify specific muscular areas related to your chronic pain and ease the tension with expert technique. Choose from a variety of corrective techniques including Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, and Shiatsu. Services now include conditioning work for athletes: mashing, resistance stretching, and strength training. She specializes in therapy for headaches, tendinitis, carpal tunnel, and sciatica. Lynn is the first person in Minneapolis/St. Paul to offer Resistance Stretching, a form of stretching in which a muscle simultaneously contracts as it lengthens. Olympic athlete Dara Torres credits this flexibility technique with helping her to win 3 silver medals in Beijing.
